World Cup of Pool dates and venue announced - 28/03/2012
The seventh annual PartyPoker.net World Cup of Pool will once again be taking place in Manila, Philippines after continuing agreement with Solar Sports, who will once again host broadcast the event.
Taking place from 4th to 9th September, the 32 team tournament returns to Robinsons Place, a state of the art shopping mall that saw upwards of 3,000 spectators watch the event when it took place there in 2010.
The six day competition features 32 two-player teams from around the world competing in a straight knock-out format for a $250,000 prize-fund. The defending champions are Germany who defeated Thailand in last year’s final.
