There are 16 points for a win, 11 for a second place finish, 8 for third, 6 for fourth, 4 for fifth, 3 for sixth, 2 for seventh and nothing for being first man out, with each point being worth $2,000. The top four players move onto the final table and the next four will battle it out in heads up matches for the remaining two final table spots. This is where over $900,000 comes into play. The winner’s share is $400,000, the runner up receives $200,000, third place is worth $100,000, fourth takes $80,000, the fifth placed finisher gets $70,000 and the first man out receives $50,000.
