Format : The ground breaking Premier League Poker is back bigger and better with 16 of the best players in the world competing in a unique league format with a $125,000 buy in and a whopping $2,000,000 prize fund. The 16 players will be split into two groups of eight. Each player plays four times and at the end of the league matches the top three in each group automatically progress through to the final. 4th plays 5th in each group in a best of three heads up matches with the two winners going through to the final. The buy-in is set at $125,000, making a total of $2,000,000 to play for. Each player plays four times in tables of eight and there is a points awarded system based on finishing positions. The top three in each group move onto the final table and the next four will battle it out in heads-up matches for the remaining two final table spots. The top prize is $450,000, and with the best in the game taking on the best, it’s one of the most prestigious titles in televised poker.
