Format:
Matchroom Sport’s first foray into the traditional sport of bowls saw six players go up against each other in a league format played over three days. Bowls has gained increasing credibility as a TV sport in recent years and the Premier League aims to take the game to a new plateau.
The six competitors will gain entry into the event as champions of major world ranking events as well wild cards. Matches in the League section of the tournament will be of ten ends duration and there will be two points for a win a one each for a draw.
Following the conclusion of the round robin play, the top four will advance to the big money play-offs.
