Premier League Poker VII moves onto the plush surrounds of the Playground Casino in Montreal as this time 12 superstars of the tables compete in a league format with a $125,000 buy in and a massive $1,500,000 prize fund.

All 12 players compete four times in a total of six heats made up of eight players each. The top four in the league make it through to the final table while the other two spots are determined by heads up matches. With only the very best competing, the Premier League title is a ‘must have’ on any poker superstar’s CV.

The ground-breaking Premier League Poker is back with its sixth edition as 16 of the best players in the world compete in a unique league format. With a $125,000 buy in, there is a whopping $2,000,000 prize fund, with $450,000 going to the winner.

Format The 16 players are split into two groups of eight and each player plays four times. There is a ‘points awarded’ system based on finishing positions and at the end of the league matches the top three in each group automatically progress through to the final. The next four will battle it out in heads-up matches for the remaining two final table spots. With the best in the game taking on the best, it’s one of the most prestigious titles in televised poker.
