Matchroom Sport is delighted to have been named inside the top 100 on the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 companies.

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 companies ranks mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing overseas sales. Matchroom Sport ranked 92nd, above companies such as fashion retailer Apricot, beauty product retailer Space NK and sandwich shop operator Pret.

Matchroom Sport’s rank on the list comes after annual international sales growth of 44.64%, with the company boasting £15.3m international sales and total sales of £70.5m for 2016-17.

Matchroom Sport Group Chief Executive Steve Dawson commented: “Our growth in international sales is down to global interest by overseas broadcasters in all of our sports, especially boxing.

“The interest in boxing is matched by the continued growth in the development of snooker across Europe and Asia and the beginning of significant interest in darts across new international territories.”
